Judges 4:4 And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.
Judges 5:7 The inhabitants of the villages ceased, they ceased in Israel, until that I Deborah arose, that I arose a mother in Israel.
The children of Israel were under immense oppression which led to so much unrest all over the land. This was a time of depression and the people were discouraged. Fear had captured the heart, crippled and hindered men, women and children alike. It was a time of confusion for many. They felt defenceless, alone and exposed to emotional challenges and crisis. In the midst of this great depression, there was a WONDER WOMAN.
Who exactly is this Wonder Woman? – You may ask. How can someone arise and be outstanding in the midst of so much insecurity? Deborah, a woman, yes, a woman on an assignment who released herself to be used by God, heard the voice of the Spirit in the midst of stiff opposition and not dissuaded by gender, race or background.
Deborah, a minister, wife, mother, leader! Wow, a Wonder Woman is virtuous. She sees a solution in a silly situation. She stands in the gap not only for her family but for the nation.
Judges 4:8 And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go.
A Wonder woman is supportive and humble. Deborah didn’t despise Barak for needing her support fighting the battle. Deborah gave her support and the Lord delivered the enemy by the hand of a Woman. Woman, God is willing to use you but can you handle the responsibility of the assignment?
A Wonder woman values relationships both with God, her family and people.
Woman, you have influence and the ability to make things happen. You are strong in the spirit against all attacks and emotional missiles of the devil.
You are graced, Wonder Woman.
