Matthew 28:5-7- But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.”
Romans 6:4-11 – Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:1-2, 11 – There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Jesus paid the price for our sins through His death and rose from the dead for our justification. I want you to know that God placed a great value on you and your eternity and for that reason, He sent Jesus Christ. God gave His best for you to have the best of life on earth and in heaven. I am always grateful for the sacrifice of Jesus because it helps me to understand how much God loves me and how much I should value myself. It has helped me to develop a high self-esteem and confidence for a brighter future.
Life really begins when we accept the fullness of the blessing of the finished work of Christ. As a result of the finished work of Christ Jesus, you are free from your sins and its consequences. You are now acceptable to God and will never be rejected. You now have access to everything that Adam and Eve lost in the garden of Eden and much more.
In the eyes of God, you died with Jesus and you rose with Him. You now have a new life. You have the God-kind of life. You can enjoy the blessings of heaven while you are still on earth. Eternal life starts for you here. Whenever you remember the resurrection of Jesus, always remember that Jesus lived, died and rose to give you all the credit.
He did all for you and not for Himself. He did not need redemption, we did, He did not commit any sin, we did, He did not need salvation, but we did. He did it all for us that we might be all that God intended for us be. So, rejoice and be glad!

Questions for Reflection:
- Do I understand the fullness of my freedom due to the resurrection of Jesus?
- Did His blood wipe away every sign of the devil on and in my life?
- Do I understand this revelation and does it spur me on?
All my sins are forgiven through the death of Jesus Christ and I am justified through His resurrection. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. The same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead dwells inside of me and quickens my mortal body to the glory of His holy name. Therefore, sickness, disease, untimely death, recession, depression, oppression, poverty, fears and lack have no dominion over me. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. I am seated together with Christ Jesus in heavenly places therefore, I am far above the opposition. Amen!
