The power of focus

Luke 11:34 – The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.

One of the definitions of focus is centre of interest or activity.  It is said that what you look longest becomes strongest. I believe you can know your centre of interest by examining what you invest most your time thinking and working on.  A wise man said broken focus leads to failure. Everyone gives their life in exchange for a central interest. My question to you is what or who is the centre of your interest? It is the centre of your interest that determines your outcome in life. It determines what you gain mastery at.

The bible recommends a centre of interest to all of us in Matthew 6:32 – 33 ‘So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.’
