The Law of Confession – The Path To Manifesting Your New Nature In Christ
Romans 10:9-11 – For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. As the Scriptures tell us, anyone who believes in him will not be disappointed. (New Living Translation)
The greatest miracle is not the recovery of the blind’s sight, raising of the dead or cleansing of the leper. The greatest miracle is the salvation of our souls from sin and hell and translation into the kingdom of God. It is noted from the above scripture in Romans that we get saved through a simple but spiritually powerful and authentic process: confessing the lordship of Jesus Christ with our mouths and believing in our hearts that God raised him from the dead. Please note that the two go hand in hand, one is not complete without the other. It is very important to know that the same process for you to be saved is the same process that will keep you saved and enable you to manifest your new nature in Christ. That is, by confessing with your mouth and believing in your heart who God calls you in Christ. This is the glory of the gospel that drives the devil and the unsaved mad. They think it is too simple to be true. Friend, I accept that it is simple but it is also true. To the perishing the gospel is foolish because of its simplicity. But that is what God wants, He wants it to be so easy that anyone and everyone can come into it and have a new and the best life.
In essence, when you give your life to Jesus you become a new creature, God’s ambassador. You become the righteousness of God, a chosen generation, a royal priest, special, obtaining mercy, not condemned, blessed, favoured and the list goes on and on. But until you come to the knowledge of this, believe in your heart and confess it with your mouth it will not be activated and the devil will continue to have a field day in your life.
So after you give your life to Jesus don’t just fold your arms and go into spiritual retirement. Rather rise up to your new nature and begin to call forth your new nature and abilities. At the beginning you may not feel so and you may not look it but as you keep believing and confessing you will turn into the person you are calling yourself. This is a cardinal law that works both ways.
I have been using this law consistently and it has always and is still producing for me. Remember, you shall have what you say, therefore keep your mouth and heart in proper check and don’t delay your progress. I see you use the law of confession to turn your entire world around in Jesus mighty name.
2 Corinthians 4:13, Romans 4:17-24
Personal declaration for the day
My faith confession will create realities. I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe He was raised from the dead for my justification. I confess Him as my Lord and Saviour. Jesus is my Lord. He is dominating my life, guiding and leading me. I am a new creature in Christ Jesus. I have the life, nature and ability of God within me. Christ is in me and I am in Christ. In Christ I live and move and have my being. In Christ I have power, life, energy and strength for impossible tasks.
