Psalm 103:20-21 – Bless the Lord, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word. Bless the Lord, all you His hosts, You ministers of His, who do His pleasure. Bless the Lord, all His works, In all places of His dominion. Bless the Lord, O my soul!
Wickedness is real, oppression is real, satanic attacks are real but more real is our victory in Christ Jesus. Life is full of real people with real problems but thank God we have real victory. Under normal circumstances, everyone should insure their property be it car, house or whatever they deem valuable against damage, theft etc. This idea originated from the Bible. God has a protection plan for our human spirit that is part of the redemption package.
God has made provision to preserve us against depression, hopelessness, defeat and eternal damnation. To preserve us against eternal damnation, He sent our Lord Jesus Christ to redeem us from sin, its hold on us and its consequences. After we accepted our redemption, He gave his angels the assignment to protect us because we are his treasured possessions. But the angels don’t just go to work they follow a divine process.
In Psalm 91:11-12, we can see that God has given the angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways – not some of our ways but all of our ways. Another version says it this way ‘For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service]’. In other words, the angels are missional in performance and direction. They will preserve you as you carry out God’s purpose and plan and not just any plan. This is very vital and important for every believer to have in mind.
We can also see that the angels wait for the word of God to be given expression by speaking it. Until you put God’s word in your mouth and speak to the angels they will fold their hands waiting for you to give an order. The word of God is their only vocabulary book so begin to learn to speak the word only in order to increase angelic operations in your life.
It is also important you know that the angels excel in strength; they don’t quit until the job is done because the word of God must not return to Him void. Remember the story of Daniel in chapter 10 of his book, the angel that was bringing the answers was hindered but he persisted until he got through and brought the answers to Daniel. Friend, delay is not denial; the angels are at work so keep speaking the word in faith, not wavering and you will see a total turn around.
So as you speak psalm 91 see your angels dispatched to work and bring God’s word to pass in your life.
