Philippians 2:12 -Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling”

We have been saved. After our spirit is regenerated at salvation, we become aware of how far we have fallen from the throne of grace. As believers, our new status confers on us the responsibility of feeding our mind with the word of God (1 peter 2:2). Yes, we are saved from the bondage of sin and death (Romans 8:2), but we are believers in the world like sheep’s among wolves. This world is not our home, while we are here, we need to live above the world’s standard and enforce the standard of God’s Kingdom here on earth. We can only do our work if we take our salvation personal. We must constantly renew our mind. Romans 12:2

God has liberated us, he expects us to save others too. Isaiah 61:1. We are saved to be free, to have eternal life and also to share this good news of salvation and reconcile people back God. In salvation, we have received the Zoë life. The life of God, a blessed life, we have the Abrahamic blessing. Genesis 12:2-3

I would like to add that it is the will of God that we prosper in every area of our lives, however we should also be reminded that our focus should not be on gathering earthly wealth or fulfilling our many needs. We should seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, knowing that every man would stand before God on judgment day to give account of our talents, gifts, time, and words and how we carried out the mandate. Matthew 28:19-20
