God loves you completely and unconditionally but without you knowing it and receiving it, it would make no difference. It is like your uncle leaving you a fortune in his bank account and you are not aware of it. You will not be able to bene?t from it. The same applies to the love of God for you. In Hosea 4:6, the Bible says, ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.’

So, ignorance of the love of God deprives you of your privileges in Christ. In Galatians 5:6, the Bible makes it clear that our faith works by love. If you are not con?dent of God’s love for you personally, your faith in God to deliver you and bless you will be very weak.

When children get into trouble, they call and run to their parents because they are sure of the love and support from them. The full force and warmth of God’s love is missing in some people’s lives because while they know that God loves them, they have not embraced or believed it. It is not what you know that saves you; it is what you do with what you know. Think and act like someone that is loved by God. Don’t allow what people say or what circumstances tell you to determine your acceptance of God’s love for you.

In Psalm 23, David said, ‘…even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, because you are with me.’ This is vital to experience the manifestation of the power of God’s love in your life. The leper in Matthew 8:1-4 said to Jesus, ‘If you will, you can make me clean.’ Jesus responded and said, ‘I will, be clean’ and his leprosy left him. The leper knew Jesus could cure him but he was not con?dent in the love of Christ for him, then Jesus assured him that, not only could He heal him, He was willing and loved the man enough to heal him.

You need to begin to see yourself as loved and accepted by God. You should meditate on that until it becomes real to you. The more the love of God for you becomes real to you, the more effective your faith becomes and the more mountains you will remove. God’s love for you is everlasting!
