Full of Love
Romans 5:5 – And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
Luke 6: 32- 36
32 But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. 35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. 36 Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.
1 Corinthians 13:8 – Love never fails.
God is love and Love is God. He (Love) has poured himself into us. So never say you cannot love because you have God in you and God is love. You are full of love and you are full of God. The challenge is releasing the love. It is easy to love people you think deserve it but it is difficult to love people that have not qualified for your love. But the real victory in love is not loving the deserving only but loving the undeserving as well. The proof of a true disciple of Christ is his/her capacity to love the unlovely and unqualified.
To generate love for the unloving and unqualified, you have to be intentional and take deliberate action. You start by declaring that you are full of love and not hate or bitterness and therefore it is easy for you to give love. Declare that God has poured his love into you and therefore you are love in motion. The way hatred, bitterness and strife develop and grow overtime, so also does love grow. It is what you cultivate that grows. So cultivate love and see it grow. As you grow in love, your faith becomes razor sharp and effective.
The proof of godliness is the fruit of love. We are not loving to be loved but we are loving to be love Himself. God is love. Don’t wait for people to love you, you love them first.
