Don’t Give Up – Part 2
Psalm 27:13 – I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Do the pressures of life overwhelm you? Are you worried about unending bills, mortgage payments, job stress or lack of expected results? Maybe your problem is emotional – lack of approval and love from your spouse or friends. Problems could also range from sickness to lack of companionship, unemployment and depression.
Perhaps you just lost a loved one or you know someone who has. My heart goes out to you and your family but I have good news for you. Something or someone may be lost but all is not, there is still hope! The situation you are in is not final; God is thinking about you at this very moment and making plans for your turnaround.
In Jeremiah 29:11 God’s word says, “For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.” You may wonder why God is thinking about you; surely He is too busy? But that’s not true. God is mindful of you. “It has been solemnly and earnestly said in a certain place, What is man that you are mindful of him, or the son of man that you graciously and helpfully care for and visit and look after him?”.
God has a plan and purpose for you. His ultimate desire is for you to know how much he loves you and experience his glorious presence. The Bible is God’s will for you and in all of scriptures God speaks about His love and care for you. You don’t have to face your problems alone, God is ready to help you out.
You may be saying, “You don’t have a clue about what I am going through,” that could be true but God knows and cares about you beyond your imagination. I encourage you today to begin to dream again and believe that there is hope and a way out for you. I want to join you in prayer. First I want you to know that you need to call Jesus Christ into your heart and let Him be the Lord of your life. He is the Saviour recommended by God to save humanity from all problems.
