Dealing with strongholds
Judges 6:25-26 KJV.And it came to pass the same night, that the Lord said unto him, Take thy father’s young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it: And build an altar unto the Lord thy God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered place, and take the second bullock, and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the grove which thou shalt cut down.
The only way to deal with any stronghold in your life is to pull it down with an external force. The law of inertia states that every matter will remain in a place of rest unless an external force is applied. So also the strongholds in your mind will persist unless you attack them with the word of God just like Gideon in the above Scripture had to pull down the temple of Baal. How do you do this? Literarily, you begin to plead the blood of Jesus over your mind and cast down those wrong thoughts and imagination. Thereafter, begin to replace those thoughts with the word of God which signifies according to the Scripture, building a new temple or stronghold based on the word of God. Once the word of God has a strong hold over your life, then you are on the path to total liberation and deliverance, then you will experience a lift in Jesus’ name. Amen!
Jeremiah 23:29 – “Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?
