Revealing Christ, the Anointed One and His Anointing

You Are Christ’s Residence

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 – Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

God has been speaking to me recently about spending more time on the appearance of my inner man. He said, “My people have been very impressive in making up and taking very good care of their outward man and that’s ok, but the inner man has been neglected and not properly cared for.” We are God’s very own residence. Whenever we have a very honourable and important person coming to stay over at our place we go to a great extent to ensure they are comfortable and have the best of time staying with us so that they will carry with them a good impression about us and also remember us for our hospitality.

If we could do that for people, how much more Christ. I want to encourage you begin to look inwards regarding how you are treating God’s house- that is you. God unlike men requires truth in our inwards parts because He lives inside us. This is because it is inside of man that both evil and good thoughts/actions are generated. So if we entertain evil, ungodly thoughts we make Christ’s anointing incapable of removing burdens and destroying the yokes plaguing our lives.

In light of this, you need to know that your thoughts either boost God’s presence or restrict it. I have made a personal decision to make my heart conducive for God because God deserves to live in the best place.

You are what you think, for as a man thinks in his heart so is he. If you don’t make Christ comfortable in you then your yokes and burdens may have to remain. But I see you change your thinking and thereby change your life.
