Revealing Christ, the Anointed One and His Anointing

Matthew 17:20 – He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith drives you forward towards the accomplishment of your vision. You have to move mountains to achieve your vision and you need faith to move those mountains. Faith comes by hearing the word from God. You need to consistently develop your faith. If you don’t believe God’s vision for your life, it will never come to pass. Even if you attempt it, you will fail because you don’t believe in it. You need faith to take proper ownership of your vision. Believe it, talk it, eat, drink it, dream it, sing it and share it. Faith is an enhancer you cannot do without.

Nehemiah 2:4-9

4 The king said to me, “What is it you want?” Then I prayed to the God of heaven, 5 and I answered the king, “If it pleases the king and if your servant has found favor in his sight, let him send me to the city in Judah where my fathers are buried so that I can rebuild it.” 6 Then the king, with the queen sitting beside him, asked me, “How long will your journey take, and when will you get back?” It pleased the king to send me; so I set a time. 7 I also said to him, “If it pleases the king, may I have letters to the governors of Trans-Euphrates, so that they will provide me safe-conduct until I arrive in Judah? 8 And may I have a letter to Asaph, keeper of the king’s forest, so he will give me timber to make beams for the gates of the citadel by the temple and for the city wall and for the residence I will occupy?” And because the gracious hand of my God was upon me, the king granted my requests. 9 So I went to the governors of Trans-Euphrates and gave them the king’s letters. The king had also sent army officers and cavalry with me.

God gave Nehemiah the vision of re-building the walls of Jerusalem. He was in captivity and was serving in the Kings Palace as a slave but God gave him favour with the king so much so that the King gave him resources and protection to achieve the vision. God will give you favour with your enemies and oppressors when you pursue his plan for your life. The bible says when a man’s way pleases the Lord; even his enemies will be at peace with him. So expect and declare favour  over your life as you pursue God’s plan for your life.
