Revealing Christ, the Anointed One and His Anointing

Total Victory All the Way

1 John 5: 4 – For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith

1 John 2:14-17 – I have written to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the Word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one. Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

1 John 4:4 – You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Friends, we have total victory in Christ but we still have to take and receive it. Total victory connotes complete, full indivisible and divine deliverance, help, rescue, safety, prosperity, liberty, salvation freedom from trouble and conquest by God through human agencies. This has been ours for over 2000 years. God is however, using this year to highlight it to us and mark our consciousness with it in a major way.

However, you cannot benefit from what you have if you don’t take and use it. So, in order to take and use what we now have, we have to know what we have overcome so as not to tolerate it any further because, whatever you tolerate, you empower to remain.

The above Scripture states that we have overcome the world. ‘The world’ in Greek means ‘Kosmos’ meaning ‘the system of arrangement of the world.’ The Bible calls the devil the god of this world system. Everything operates based on a system. The kingdom of God operates on a system as well. The Bible instructs us not to be ignorant of the devices (systems) of the devil.

The world system operates on the foundation of 3 things: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. Galatians 5:19-21 outlines the works of the flesh and its consequences. The Bible tells us as believers to work by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). The Bible declares that God opposes the proud and gives grace to the humble. So, watch for these satanic elements that the world system uses to enslave people and don’t be a victim. These systems undergird all the seven pillars of human society, namely family, politics, finance, education, media, art/entertainment, and religion. Every human society rests on these pillars and these pillars are founded and operate on the foundation of the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. But the kingdom of God to which we belong operates on the righteousness, peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17).

You enforce your victory over the world system by allowing the Word of God to abide in you in abundance. Having abundance of the Word requires an intentional and deliberate effort and violent work of grace. Also, the abundance of the Word results in the abundance of faith because faith comes by hearing the Word of God, and you know faith moves mountains. So, how much mountains you will move depends on your Word investment. Be far away from unedifying movies, music, soap opera and devote more time to the development of your personal faith in order to receive all that God is giving you this year. Your lack of diligence with the Word will make you a victim. So, let the Word of Christ dwell richly in you in areas of your struggles and never let it go. Friends, please know that nothing works until you work it. The Word of God works when you work it. Over to you now.
