Revealing Christ, the Anointed One and His Anointing

The Power of the Spoken Word – What Are You Saying?

Psalm 91:2

“I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”

Joel 3:10

“Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.”

I observed from the scriptures that everything God created was created by His words. Until God spoke nothing was made. Every single item of creation was spoken into being and not one came into existence by chance or accident. Please be aware that there are no accidents with God or in the spirit world. This implies that there are no accidents in the physical realm because everything in this realm takes root from the spiritual realm. But you may ask, ‘Pastor what of car accidents and other accidents?’ I want you to understand that because you didn’t orchestrate something doesn’t mean it wasn’t orchestrated by another person or force.

Your ignorance does not stop the motions, forces and laws of life and death. Furthermore because God is the Almighty doesn’t mean He doesn’t work by principles and laws. Yes, God may be aware that a car is going to crash but He cannot stop it if the people involved have neglected the operation of the law of divine protection.

For example a man that keeps speaking negative words over his car, life, family, job etc. and expects that he will be under the blessing of God is deceiving himself. It may take time but his cloud (words) will be full someday and calamity will rain down on such a person. When such a person has a car crash, some will call it an accident; rather it’s the harvest of years of negative speaking here and there.  Proverbs 26:2 says, ‘Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, So a curse without cause shall not alight.’

What about bad things happening to Christians? Please note that although God promised us protection, prosperity etc. we still need to actively engage the law of confession in order to activate the promises in God’s word. Some think that our words are only important when we are in church or in prayer but that’s partly correct, our words carry the same potency at all times. The angels that carry out our words are not trained or instructed to pick and choose or divide and select. It is our responsibility to watch out words. The angels carry out what we say either good or bad. That’s why sometimes a person prays in church and receives a blessing in the service and the same person can cancel out such blessing with negative words.

Our lives rise and fall based on our confession so be watchful not to engage in idle words because they are really destructive. Your outer mouth must agree with your inner mouth. The angels are trained to accept the fact that you mean what you say and you say what you mean. So realign yourself to say only what you mean.

I pray for quick understanding for you regarding this tool of creativity in JESUS name!

The Message translation of Ecclesiastes 5:6 says, “Don’t let your mouth make a total sinner of you. When called to account, you won’t get by with “Sorry, I didn’t mean it.” Why risk provoking God to angry retaliation?
