Revealing Christ, the Anointed One and His Anointing

The Power of Grace

Esther 2:8-9, 15-198 So it came to pass, when the king’s commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the king’s house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women. 9 And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of the king’s house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.

15 Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king’s chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her. 16 So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign. 17 And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.

There was a beauty pageant in the whole of the realm; many applied but one was to be Queen. In a beauty pageant, there are some criteria for consideration; beauty, height, age etc. The women that enrolled to be chosen had all these physical qualities but one of them had something different, ‘Grace’.  Grace singles out a person in the midst of the crowd, Grace pulls one out of a deep mess and turns it around into a message, Grace makes one preferred amongst other contenders, Grace grants peace in the midst of a storm, Grace brings victory at the battle front, Grace restores broken relations. Grace grants divine access when one would have been previously denied. You are graced therefore, you will not be disgraced!

Esther was a foreigner but grace is not limited by our race, gender, past experiences, qualification, or back ground. Jesus has paid the price for what the enemy could have used against us as a setback. Friend, you are unstoppable. Grace is creative; the scriptures declare He makes those things that be not as though they were (Romans 4:17). Hitherto, there was no opening but grace creates a position that was once occupied. Friend, your business idea will see the light of day by grace, you will receive your own husband/wife by grace, your home will be built by grace, your children will manifest and walk in the way of Lord by grace, your relationship will be restored by grace, and your marriage will flourish by grace. Grace is the power of God to overcome in spite of challenges.

Esther received favour from everyone she met. You might be in the middle of a major decision that is likely to cause a major shift. It could be a career change or an investment decision, whatever it is, please be aware you are preferred and highly favoured. The grace of God was on the life of Moses’ mother and her own child’s life amongst thousands of children was spared. Friend, be courageous because the Lord has fought and won on your behalf.

Friend, there is only one place you can go, it is far above! You have a crown of Grace that always distinguishes you.
