“And a woman, who had an issue of blood twelve years, and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, having heard the things concerning Jesus, came in the crowd behind, and touched his garment.
For SHE SAID, if I touch but his garments, I shall be made whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her plague.
And straightway Jesus, perceiving in himself that the power [proceeding] from him had gone forth, turned him about in the crowd, and said, Who touched my garments? And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what had been done to her, came and fell down before him, and TOLD him all the truth.
And he said unto her, Daughter, THY FAITH HATH MADE THEE WHOLE; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague”. (American Standard Version)
The above illustration demonstrates how we can be whole from any plague or trouble. The woman with the issue of blood, like any average human being made efforts and sought solutions from the doctors of her day and invested her money and time but the problem only got worse. So we cannot blame her for lack of trying. Please note activity is not always productivity, so running around from pillar to post would not always guarantee success or deliverance. In Jesus name you will not run in vain!
Thank God when she heard of Jesus and didn’t let her past twelve years of unsuccessful search deter her. Rather she chose to believe what she heard about Jesus and then activated her miracle by verbalising her faith in the anointing on Jesus to heal her by saying, ‘If I touch but his garments’. Another translation renders that phrase this way – ‘she kept saying to herself’. Stop trying to convince people that you have faith, first convince yourself then your results will convince the world. She first ensured that her faith was in place by believing what she heard of Jesus and then increased the crescendo by saying it over and over again to herself.
After you get a word from God, either by studying the scripture or by listening to a ministration, you need to first accept and believe it as yours, then hold fast to it by continually saying it and then begin to walk towards the breakthrough.
It was the faith of this woman that made her whole. Her faith in Jesus made her whole. So it is your faith in God that will make you whole. It is your responsibility to accelerate your faith through consistently personalising the word you hear and by so doing you will activate it, and after a series of activation you will provoke a supernatural outburst of glory. So what have you been saying over your life? Your words tell me your expectation and what you expect will determine your manifestation. Please note the woman was saying her healing before she even saw or met Jesus, that means what you say when you are not in or outside the church counts and has the same impact on your life.
You can never hear me say a negative thing over my life because I have come to understand the power of words. “And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.” It’s over to you, it’s your faith that will determine the peace you command. Please note it was her faith that made her whole not the faith of Jesus.
