Revealing Christ, the Anointed One and His Anointing

Supernatural Protection

Supernatural Protection

Psalm 91:1-4,10-11  1HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].

2I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!

3For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.

4[Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.

10There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent.

11For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service]. (Amplified Version)

There three levels of protection that God offers his children: Physical, Spiritual and Material. While man may offer you natural protection which is limited to the five senses God offers you supernaturalprotection that is beyond and above the natural. Please be aware that the invisible protection that God offers far supersedes the natural protection because the visible is totally dependent on the invisible realm. Furthermore you are a spirit; you live in a physical body and have a soul. Therefore the protection of your spirit is paramount to your safe continual existence.

In the next few days, I will be focusing on these three areas of supernatural protection and help you appropriate this covenant privilege. Friend, our lives are hid in Christ in God, meaning that for anyone to get to us they we have to get to God and get rid of Him and get to Christ and get rid of Him before they can get to us. That is why we are safe and the real untouchables.

From the above scripture you will see that the way to unleash the protection is in the second verse… ‘I will say of the Lord he is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in Him I confidently trust’. So what is refuge? A refuge is a safe shelter; a fortress is a strong and secure place, God is your centre of worship and trust is total dependence with no distractions.

We are to invoke supernatural protection by saying of the Lord, “You are my shelter, my strong and secure place (note; not all shelters are strong and secure), you are my centre of worship and I will put all my belief system in you”. Yes, that’s the way to do it. First, internalise God’s promises for your protection by visualising it in your mind and believing it. Then personalise it by confessing over your life. Please do not use this as a formula but as a way of life. The word works when we work it consistently not occasionally. Our supernatural protection includes protection from sin (spiritual), protection from sickness (physical) and protection from poverty (material).
