Revealing Christ, the Anointed One and His Anointing

So how can I start healing the hurt?

So how can I start healing the hurt?

AUGUST 17

1 Peter 4:11 – If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power forever and ever.

Fix your eyes on God through praise

God gave me a wonderful revelation on this Scripture. I was thinking about it one day and said to myself, ‘Lord, why do you say I should praise you when I’m so hurt?’ God said, ‘It’s not just so that I’m getting praised. Your mind is so hardened right now you don’t know what to think about, and the devil will have easy access, but if you keep your mind and your heart on Me, praising My Name and standing on My word, you will occupy your heart, soul and mind with Me and you will be able to resist the infiltration of the devil and he will flee from you.’

By getting yourself to praise God, you are speaking the word and protecting your mind from attack. We have all heard of idle hands. Well, an idle mind is just as bad if not worse: this is where praying in other tongues benefits because sometimes, because you are so hurt, you don’t know what to pray.

Don’t deny you are hurt
If you are really hurting don’t allow pride to convince you to hide that hurt in the depth of your soul to allow it fester like a piece of rotten meat. Tell your Pastor or a friend but first and foremost, tell God. David cried out to the Lord, Sarah and even Jesus did. Tell God because He sees your heart. If something is brought into the light , it is easier to deal with. Tell Him, ‘Lord, I am hurting over this and it’s troubling my soul, heal me Lord. Holy Spirit comfort me, counsel me and assist me in being of good cheer because I know with You, I can overcome.’

Express it and make an honest measure of yourself.

You can always justify the reason you are feeling hurt, but don’t focus on that. Focus on healing and forgiveness. You will never understand or justify some things that happen to you. Honestly, you get brain strain when you’re focused on understanding some things. So, focus on forgiveness, ask God to help you, get Scriptures on forgiveness and apply them to your situation.
