Meditation key to developing divine mindset and living a life of success – Part 2

September 14

Joshua 1:8 – This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Muse – it means to ponder quietly. This is one of the most effective ways to touch the realm of the supernatural. You can travel into the world of the spirit by quietly pondering on God’s word. When you take out time alone to ponder quietly you, you invite God to minister to you and impart ideas, inventions and images on your mind. Paul said we should study to be quiet. The bible instructs us to be still and know that He is God. David understood the power and benefit of being still he says in psalm 23, He leads me beside the still water and he restores my soul. One of the major ways to keep your soul refreshed and renewed is by pondering quietly on God and His promises. So if you want to succeed you have to meditate on God’s word in relation to your life goals and if you want to meditate you must learn to ponder quietly on God’s promises. This requires effort on your part. Meditation is a deliberate discipline that is essential for a healthy soul.

Speaking – this means to say words clearly. The neurosurgeons now say that the speaking nerve controls all the other nerves of the body. By speaking God’s word out loud, you invite a divine manifestation. In Joshua 1:8, putting the word in our mouth precedes putting it in our mind. So meditation in it fullness includes both externalisation and internalisation of God promises.

Every successful meditation result in the development of Godly stronghold and divine enlargement. Remember, the bible says in the Genesis about the people building the tower of Babel, God said that there is nothing that they have imagined that can be withheld from them (Genesis 11:6). So the only thing God was able to do to stop them was by confusing what they were saying (language). When what you are thinking is different from what you are saying then you have cooked up a perfect recipe for another Babel disaster. Your mind and mouth must agree together. Meditation makes you unstoppable and undeniable. So start aiming your thoughts in the direction you want your life to go by using the word of God and you will achieve the success you desire.

Note, the key to successful meditation is in consistency. Be consistent. The bible instructs us proclaim the word; persist in it whether convenient or not. This is not for Sunday or someday only it is for everyday. It not meant to be a formula, it is meant to be embraced as a lifestyle.

Friend, avoid stinking thinking because they make you stink.
