How to Release Your Faith for Results
Romans 10:6-10 – But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ “(that is, to bring Christ down from above) or, ” ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing God’s word. Faith works through love. This week we will explore how faith is released to get the desired results. The greatest miracle that ever happened was the re-born of our human spirit through confessing Jesus with our mouth and believing in our hearts that raised him from the dead. All other miracles are less but the process of getting the other miracles is the same. It is the process of declaration of the word of faith.
After we have heard and received the word of faith, a divine persuasion and confidence is generated. But this confidence is not meant to be left dormant on our inside, it is meant to be released by declaring the word we have received and believed. It is the declaration of faith that brings faith results. In Mark 11 Jesus released His faith by the spoken word and then the result followed. You cannot wish your way to victory. Faith without words is dead. One of the words that should accompany faith is our declaration of the word faith. We have to call those things that are not as though they are. Not once or few times, we have to keep calling them until they turn up in the physical.
This is how I develop and release my faith for what I am expecting: I spend time meditating on scriptures that are relevant to what I am currently expecting. After a period of meditation on scriptures which could do so ranges from one week to months. The scriptures I am meditating on will then form a picture within me. When the picture becomes crystal clear and living within me, then I begin to make a faith declaration from the standpoint of the words that have become a living picture within me. At that stage, the words I speak are living words and not mere words. This is where a lot of Christians make mistakes. They just pick up some scriptures and start declaring them without developing a personal depth of conviction in those scriptures. While in some cases in spite of us, God is merciful and He will bring those words to pass, in many cases people don’t get a result because they have not taken sufficient time to develop a picture of victory through meditation.
The proper process of releasing your faith for result entails:
Hearing the word of faith, believing and receiving it
Meditate on the word until it develops into a vivid living picture within you
Declare the picture to come to pass
Then you create a miracle
I want you to know that this takes time, diligence and discipline. I am always fine tuning myself. Prioritise your time and your life. Living a life of faith is a skill you develop and fine tune for a life time. How strong your faith will be is solely up to you and not to anybody. So take responsibility from today and enjoy abundant victory.
