Revealing Christ, the Anointed One and His Anointing

How to get to Heaven

How to get to Heaven

Romans 10:8-10

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

When we want to go somewhere we have never been before, we take direction from people that have been there and those that know where we want to go. Today, we use satellite navigator. We type in our destination into the device and it begins give us instruction that would take us to our destination. To get to heaven we need direction and we get the direction from the bible. The process of taking and following instruction on how to get to heaven is called spiritual salvation. In John 14:6, Jesus declares that he is the way to God the father. God’s base is heaven. So we know way but we also need to know how to navigate the way. We have the answer in the above scripture.

In the above scripture, the navigation technique is outlines as follow:-

Confess with your mouth the Lordship of Jesus

Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead

You become saved from hell and inherit heaven.

By being saved, we means when you made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life and accepted is death and resurrection as the substitutionary payment for your sins, you are cleansed from your sins and delivered from judgement. You are now translated into the kingdom of God and heaven is yours. The only way to heaven is Jesus Christ and to navigate the way you must accept his lordship and believe in His sacrifice. So get up and be on your way to heaven instead of hell.
