Psalm 35:27 – Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”
As I said in my previous writing, God wants you to prosper because of His love for you and for the sake of his kingdom.
The following are ways by which God provides for his people:
- The work of our Hands
- Witty invention and ideas
- Gifts and talents
- Prophetic blessings
Gifts and Talents
Psalm 18:16 – A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men.
Exodus 36:1-5 – 1 “And Bezalel and Aholiab, and every gifted artisan in whom the Lord has put wisdom and understanding, to know how to do all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, shall do according to all that the Lord has commanded.” 2 Then Moses called Bezalel and Aholiab, and every gifted artisan in whose heart the Lord had put wisdom, everyone whose heart was stirred, to come and do the work. 3 And they received from Moses all the offering which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of making the sanctuary. So they continued bringing to him freewill offerings every morning. 4 Then all the craftsmen who were doing all the work of the sanctuary came, each from the work he was doing, 5 and they spoke to Moses, saying, “The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work which the Lord commanded us to do.”
Everyone has a gift or talent given to them by God but most of the time they are in raw state and needs to be developed and well managed. Most gifts and talents are in seed form and they need the right environment to grow and produce fruit to profitability. Inside every fertilized egg in a woman is a baby to be born, every baby born has potential to become a healthy young adult and a matured adult is properly nurtured. So also is every talent and gift.
The gifts and talents that God gives have endless potential within them ready for us to tap into. In the above scripture in exodus we see that the whole of the children of Israel brought offerings to Bezalel out of their own freewill because of his gift and talent. When you develop your gift and your gifts meet needs, people will willingly pay you. It is your responsibility to find your most dominant gift, find a right environment to develop it, strategise on how to use your gift to meet needs in a profitable way.
Believe in your God given gift, get a good mentor that would help you develop your potential, be disciplined and be focused and within a short period people will start noticing you. If you become the best at possessing your gift, the world will come to you but you have to work at it day and night. I see you discover your gift, develop it in the right environment and present it profitably to people that needs it in Jesus mighty name.
Psalm 44:3 – For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them; But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, because You favored them.
Psalm 5:12 – For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield.
Luke 2:52 – And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
One day of favour can wipe out a lifetime of labour. No matter how hard you work, no matter your qualifications and the magnitude of your ideas and regardless of your gift and talents, without favour this could be futile. Favour is defined as preference at the expense of others. The people of Israel got to the Promised Land after 430 years of slavery on the ticket of favour. Favour will get you what labour cannot get you.
Favour will place you above people that are better than you. Israel got the lands of giants even though they themselves were not physical giants. Favour humbles you because after you get the result you know that it is not by your power or by your might but by the spirit of God. But that said you need make yourself favour-able. Joseph shaved himself and put on new raiment when he was called upon by pharaoh, Esther fasted and asked the Jews to join her when she was going into the king to ask for the preservation of her people, Blind Bartimaeus rose up and threw away his begging garment when Jesus called upon him. When preparation meets opportunity we call it breakthrough. It is important to know that every favour requires the right attitude and posture to materialize. So prepare and position yourself for the favour you desire. God granted the Jews favour with the Egyptians when they were leaving Egypt and they gave them treasures. But the Jews had to ask before they received. Also they asked at the right time and as God led them. You need favour with man and God. Desire it, prepare and position yourself for it, ask for it, take it with the right attitude, and give glory to God. No favour is too big for God to grant you. Remember divine favour requires divine attitude.
2 Chronicles 20:20 – So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” Hosea 12:13 – By a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet he was preserved.
God has anointed and ordained certain people as spiritual overseers to help us into our destinies. They act as divine catalyst to help us over the bumps of life and fill the potholes on our path. They speak into our lives the divine destiny that God has for us, they heal us where we are hurting and provide us with timely wisdom.
Bible says, the Lord will give us Pastors after his heart who will feed you with knowledge and understanding. I will not be where I am today, if not for such people in my life. Every time you are in the presence of your man of God see it as an opportunity for divine encounter and promotion. The spirit of wisdom came upon Joshua because Moses the Lord’s servant has laid hands on him. Elisha did twice the amount of miracles that Elijah did because he has submitted to Elijah. Timothy became a great leader because he submitted to the mentoring of Apostle Paul. The bible is full of example of people that entered into greatness and provision because of partnering with the men and woman of God. I encourage you to seize this opportunity in the spirit of humility to launch yourself ahead into divine abundance through this platform.
