Having the right motivation
2 Corinthians 9:7 – Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
I foresee the days of God’s glory descend on us all but for us to see the greatest days of our lives we must make first things first. What is the first thing? Matthew 22:35-40 “Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him saying Master which is THE GREAT commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and the great commandment. And the second is like unto it, thou shall love thy neighbours as thy self. On these two hang all the law and the prophets’. From this scripture it clear that the path to the greatest manifestation of God in our lives is by adhering to the commandment of Love. While may produce some results and make some progress without walking in God’s love however, you cannot match or fulfil all your destiny without obeying the first and the great commandment. The first commandment is not prayer, not preach, or not fast, don’t get me wrong these are all good but they are not the first thing. Anything you do outside of God’s love is nothing as far as God is concerned. Read 1 Corinthians 13:2-3. Can you imagine how many good works we have done without the right motivation? It time to do it right, start praying Romans 5:5 over your life everyday and let your motivation for doing everything be God’s love. Then your giving and your services become acceptable and profitable. Enough of loses it’s time to start doing things love’s way.
