Revealing Christ, the Anointed One and His Anointing

A condemning heart

A condemning heart

1John 3:20-21

For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.

Condemnation weakens faith. It destroys self esteem and frustrates the grace of God. I have sometime woken up in the morning without doing anything yet and a sense of guilt and condemnation is the first thing that raises its ugly head. I ask myself and take inventory of the last 24 hours to see if I have done anything against God or have an unconfessed sin.  Ninety nine percent of the time, I find nothing. This feeling of guilt and condemnation is not of God it is from the devil and you should not lie under it. God does is an accuser the devil is. In Revelation 12:10, the bible calls the Satan the accuser of the brethren. He accuses the children of God day and night. I have news for you there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). While there is correction in Christ, there is no condemnation in Christ. This is not meant to give liberty to sin but to give you peace of mind in your daily work with God and save you from constant apprehension that you have sinned or will sin. Condemnation makes you sin conscious and sin consciousness make you sin. So become righteousness conscious, declare according to 2 Corinthian 5:21, that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and believe it and then you will begin to see the life of Christ rise up within you and shine forth through you.
